She knocks quietly this time.
"Feel me", she whispers. "Let me in".
I consider her request.
I know how exhausting a visit can be.
I also know she won't stay forever,
And I fondly remember the peace when she leaves.
I decide to open my door.
"Stay awhile" I concede.
"Stay as long as you need."
Jen played me this audio file today from over a year ago.
I'm feeling brave tonight so I'm deciding to share it.
There is some coughing and mistakes but I still think our voices blend beautifully.
See what you think.
(The arrangement is by duo 'Renee and Jeremy', they do some awesome, cruisy covers)
The Man of the House recommended this one for me... I love it :-)
The Circle Game by Joni Mitchell.
Thanks to my friend Nic for sharing this song on Facebook.
This is definitely one to make me cry after a long day!
I love this track from the film Begin Again. I really enjoyed the movie, from the creators of Once.
(I am posting a lyric video because the film clip is an epic spoiler if you think you might wanna see the film!)
I am preparing to sing this beautiful song for the Kernewek Lowender (Cornish Festival) on the Copper Coast this month, accompanied by the talented Jennifer Cowley and Julie Ayles.
