And a big welcome to new readers.
Did you by any chance find me by by googling Thermochef?I know a few of you have. Thanks so much for popping by.
I'm still really happy with my kitchen helper. You can read my original review here.
I use it pretty much everyday for main meals and I am slowly working my way through the included recipe book as well Kim Coster's recipe book Thermostruck and 200 International Recipe cards.
I have had one major flop...Spaghetti Bolognaise. The mince was chopped so finely during the cooking that it came out with a consistency of...hmmm, dirt? It was edible but definitely not something I will be cooking again!
I have had many successes...
Veggie and tofu rissoles.
Play dough for the kids which I would usually make in the saucepan, it turned out well. They wanted to leave it white :-)
Asian Inspired Carrot Soup
Risotto with Sun-dried Tomato, parmesan, peas and ham.
(Hi Mum, don't worry, I couldn't eat this one. The grief I gave you as a child about peas was real.)
And Vegetable Risotto which is up there with my favourites, as well as pretty much anything I cook with red lentils.
Wishing you a relaxed and fulfilling weekend
